Análisis de las pericias tanato-antropométricas efectuadas en el Instituto de Medicina Legal Nina Rodrigues (Salvador-Bahía). Comparación con el resto de pericias tanatológicas y muertes violentas.

RESUMEN

El autor analiza los datos recogidos en la Sección de Antropología Física y Forense del Instituto de Medicina Legal "Nina Rodríguez" en el período 1994-96. Los resultados se comparan con las hallazgos observados en el resto de autopsias practicadas en el mismo período y se destacala mortalidad por causas externas con el objetivo de comprobar si los resultados de las pericias antropológicas concuerdan con los hallazgos observados en los casos de muerte violenta.

ABSTRACT

Comparative analysis between physical anthropologic expertise, autopsy and violence.

The author analyses the data produced by the Physic and Forensic Anthopology Department from the Institute of Legal Medicine "Nina Rodrigues" in the period 1994 to 1996. The results are compared to the the findings observed in the rest of autopsic exams in the same period outlining the external causes of mortality with the aim to validate if the results found in the anthropologic expertises are in agreement with the ones observed in cases of violent deaths.
